The comprehensive and exclusive EVB ESR Meter Owners manual was written by Bob Parker.  It explains the problem of ESR in electrolytic capacitors and contain many tips for making the best use of the EVB meter.  It is here as a 330 KB pdf file which you can download now. This is how:

 Attention: K7214-MK2 manual has an incorrect information on page 12 "OPTIONAL MODIFICATIONS" -"improoving battery life", where is written ", replace R26 (10k) should be read, replace R25 (47K).

This manual also not have the calibration procedure for low battery condition warning, for that regular IC1(LP2950CZ-5.0)
