Info

This is a layout contest for your weblog, personal site, portfolio or fanlistings, but the layout must be made by you! We're not interested in the writing, only the layout, we're tired of those templates made by other person, so we want to see some nice work made by you.

How it works

There will be a countdown from the total number of participants to the winners. Those countdowns we'll call Tops. For example, if we have 15 participants, we'll make Top 8, then Top 5 and then the last one: Top 3, where the winners will be announced. It doesn't have to be, really top 8 or top 5, because sometimes the participants break the rules (when don't update or are on hiatus), so we are free to make top 7 instead of top 8, but it's going to be that way.

We (Yuna and Margarida) will choose the winners and make the tops, there won't be any poll for you to choose them, unless at the end, we can't decide the best ones, so visitors may interfere.

The tops are released on the main page, on the updates/news section and we'll notify the participants by email.

Prizes

For the winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd places), you'll win link on this site, like a hall of fame permanently on the main page and a custom award. All the other participants will have their link on the archives page and win the top award if they pass them (examepl: top 5 award, top 8 award, etc).

Disclaimer

This contest is based on the opinions of Yuna and Margarida, as webdesigners and as owners/webmistresses of this site. This doesn't mean your site isn't good enough, is just some way to have fun and highlight the best sites (in our opinions) that enter the contest.
