Full Power @ CROW
All three setups are working properly. The Paramount ME,Celestron CG5 and Losmandy GM8 are all doing deep sky images but the last has a much wider view of the sky(Canon300D with Nikon 300 f/2.8) with some 5 degrees.
The (in)famous Locker
The (in)famous locker is going to be @ CROW next time I'm there to prevent high winds to lift the roof (as a small but very rare tornado once did). The last tornado around here is not even shown in history books...
Old News
Work@CROW
- These days (back in 2007) all details had to be taken care of. One of the very fine examples is this ground bumping thing me a couple other friends I invited over (thank God they came over). This was the day my station wagon got up to the observatory and I stopped carrying cement and bricks to 565 meters of altitude.
The spaghetti incident
- No. Not the Guns'n'Roses album but the fine crossing these cables made it look like the world was about to end if anyone touched one of these. One thing I can tell you for sure... some cables are there just because. I don't have a clue of what they're there for but you know what they say:
- "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" !!!
