Galaxies
NGC 1275 & others 12.2008
Also known as Perseus A this is one of those pictures to keep human kind in th perspective..
NGC 6946 06.2008
This is NGC 6946 in the constellation of Cygnus.A
beautiful galaxy.
M 33 10.2008
LRGB of M33 (the triangulum galaxy). The name is based on the constellation where it resides.
M 51 03.2008
L channel on Losmandy GM8 with ATIK 16HR and FLT110 by William optics scope (TEC Lenses).
Leo's Trio
Three for the price of one! M 65, M 66 and NGC 3628.
M 101
LRGB
and Luminance
image of this very big galaxy.
Nebulae
NGC 7380 08.08
This Nebula pictured here in SHO as RGB is part of my imaginary when referring to astrophotgraphy. H alpha separated from an earlier version.
IC 1848
The Cone nebula without the Coneo itself. Due to a small FOV this is the central region of the object where fairy dust lies...
IC 1396
The Elephant's trunk nebula observed through an H-alpha 13 nm filter...Again this is the center of the object with the trunk only showing a little.
IC 59 & IC 63
This is one of those views one can usually only achieve through a computer since these objects are quite faint and small. Notice The very bright star's halos on the top left margin. Neat huh?! SHO and H-alpha separately.
IC 410 01.09
The Tadpole nebula observed through an H-alpha 6 nm filter. High contrast was used to get the nebula into one's eye...
IC 405 12.08
My best looking image ever. The processing must be credited to Filipe Alves and most of the observing runs to Paulo Barros.
IC 434
- SHO image of one of my all time favourite objects. Losmandy GM8 mount and some more stuff.
Pickering Triangle 08.08
One of my all time favourites! My first 3D like image. 48 hours of exposure got me there.
M 27
A
wonderful planetary nebula in Vulpecula! LRGB (LSHO really). This is a very rich region in all kind of things, stars, nebula,
etc...
M 57
First
fully robotic image ever at CROW. Believe it or not this was a major
success for me.
NGC 7293
Also
known as "The Eye of God" this is one of those objects one can
easily find to fill the eye of the beholder.
